Status: UNKNOWN (but probably ALIVE)

Though he's in Infinity War for a grand total of about 11 seconds, Ned's status for the sequel is apparently too much of a "spoiler" according to Joe Russo.

Impact:

This is a curious one, because Ned SHOULDN'T have any impact on Avengers 4, but if his fate is protected, that means he must have. Perhaps his genius will come into play somehow? Or maybe he's the guy to stand in for Spider-Man when the time comes to fight Thanos again?

Probably not that last bit, to be honest. But it's still interesting to note that he's likely to come back.
