12. Time Travel Could Be A Factor

It's been whispered about for a while that Infinity War may feature time travel, what with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) possessing the Eye of Agamotto, and Thanos (Josh Brolin) possibly acquiring it before the end of the movie.

In addition, set photos from either Infinity War or Avengers 4 - the content of which we shan't spoil here - have further hinted at the possibility of time travel. These images even whipped up enough of a frenzy online that the Russo brothers actually offered a response.

They said, "It's interesting because photos always leak and there's lots of conjecture about what those photos mean. Certainly, there is a five minute sequence in Civil War around a piece of technology that was laid in for a very specific reason. If you go back and look at that film, you may get a hint as to the direction."

Fans have deduced that the Russos are most definitely talking about the Binarily Augmented Retro-Framing (B.A.R.F.) memory-reliving tech that Tony uses at the start of Civil War. There's been fairly believable speculation that it may be used in conjunction with the Eye of Agamotto to send characters through time and/or alter memories.

This could certainly be reserved entirely for Avengers 4 or it could make a bold appearance in Infinity War. We'll have to wait and see.
