9. RIP The Asgardian Refugees

Thor: Ragnarok concluded with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) escaping Asgard with the remaining surviving citizens, but the mid-credits scene also showed them coming into contact with Thanos' ship, the Sanctuary II.

Though it remains to be seen exactly how this confrontation pays off, we know that Thor ends up floating through space at one point and comes into contact with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Moreover, trailers have shown Black Order member Ebony Maw walking through wreckage containing some distinctly Asgardian-looking bodies. This is presumably on-board Thor's commandeered ship, which seems to confirm that this meeting with Thanos doesn't go well for them.

Basically, pretty much all the Asgardian refugees will die, while Thor and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will obviously survive, probably along with the likes of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), Miek and Heimdall (Idris Elba) too.
