5. Loki

Last Time

Despite a slight wobble where he attempted to betray Thor again for The Grandmaster's reward money in Thor: Ragnarok, Loki seemed to shift into more heroic waters than anti-heroic ones by the time the film was done. He led the Sakaarian rebels to safety and then took them to Asgard to save the refugees and Thor (when he could have simply gone somewhere else entirely).

Could he be a changed man?

Also, he stole the Tesseract from his father's Vault, just in time for it not to be destroyed along with Asgard when Surtr brought Ragnarok into action.

Now

We know he stole the Tesseract because he's shown with it in the Infinity War trailer, and the fact that he seems to be handing it over willingly to someone suggests he's going back to his old ways. He might be forced into an alliance with Thanos, but he'll be paying off an old debt to the Titan (after failing him in The Avengers) and rumour has it he'll sit on his right hand as an advisor.

That's a pretty big change from the guy who just saved Asgard's residents from certain death.
