Avengers: Infinity War - 15 New Details Marvel Just Revealed
6. The Hulk Is Even Angrier (And Has A Big Story Arc)

Though he was conspicuous by his absence from the footage shown (perhaps because he takes so much effects work), the Hulk will be a key player in Infinity War.
Mark Ruffalo turned up at D23 and spoke to Fandango about his beloved character, revealing some interesting details. He says there's a lot of changes coming for Bruce Banner, who we will next see in Thor: Ragnarok, and who is dealing with some sort of major issue in Ragnarok that will span both the forthcoming Avengers movies:
"There's a huge change for Banner and for Hulk. It isn't resolved in the first Infinity War, it sort of culminates into the second Infinity War. Thor 3 is the beginning of a lot of changes for Banner and for Hulk."
And what's that issue? Anger, apparently, as Ruffalo told GMA:
“He’s even more angry than he was the last time we saw him. For a much longer period of time.”
Could this mean we're going to see a version of the Planet Hulk storyline? Has Hulk suffered a monumental personal loss that makes him impossibly angry and full of vengeance? How on Earth would that fit with him becoming an Avenger again? Maybe that's the point (and why the Hulkbuster is back in action) - maybe Hulk isn't actually an Avenger in Infinity War at all...
