Avengers: Infinity War - 15 Obscure Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed

13. "Close By, Worlds Away"

Practically nobody caught this Easter egg during Infinity War's theatrical run because, given its brevity, how the hell could you?

When Thanos' Children Ebony Maw (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) and Cull Obsidian (Terry Notary) show up in New York in search of the Time Stone, some banners attached to a few street lamps are briefly visible, bearing the slogan, "Close by, worlds away."

The banner also features the cover art for electronic group Sorsari's album "Worlds Away", making it clear that the banner is advertising the album. However, as the album was released in the summer of 2016 and this scene wasn't shot until a whole year later, there's no way the banner would still be left up in New York.

As such, it's fair to assume that the Russo brothers are Sorsari fans and decided to include the banner as a nod. After all, that slogan bears a strong relevance to the actual plot of Infinity War: while Thanos' foot-soldiers are close by, the Mad Titan is still worlds away at this point in the story.
