7. Vision Sacrifices Himself

From early on in Infinity War, Vision remained steadfast that he would have to die in order for the Mind Stone to be destroyed, and true to form, he was totally pragmatic about it. Scarlet Witch? Not so much.

The plan eventually shifts to Shuri attempting to remove the Mind Stone with her scientific genius, but when time runs out and Vision finds himself on the Wakandan battlefield, it falls to Scarlet Witch to obliterate the Mind Stone seconds before Thanos can reach it.

It's all for nothing, of course, as Thanos ultimately uses the Time Stone to resurrect Vision and rip the Mind Stone out of his head, but Vision's departing words to Wanda - "It shouldn't be you but it is...You could never hurt me. All I feel is you" - are both bada** and unexpectedly touching.
