5. Doctor Strange Knows The Future

Ahead of the Titan battle, Doctor Strange uses the Time Stone to view all 14 million-plus possible outcomes of their fight against Thanos, viewing just one scenario where they come out on top.

Rather than just straight-up discussing what Strange saw, of course, the battle unfolds and Thanos is victorious, performing the snap and eradicating half the universe after Strange trades the Time Stone for Tony Stark's life.

Stark is naturally exasperated with Strange for doing so, but before he turns to dust, Strange tells him, "There was no other way." Clearly, Strange knew far more than he was letting on, that this sequence of events had to take place in order for the Avengers to eventually triumph over Thanos in the future.

It's an extremely neat and enigmatic tease for Avengers 4, even if Strange himself will clearly be spending a large chunk of the movie off-screen.
