6. It's Not Going To Appear At All

Well, at least not in Infinity War.

We're perhaps all a little too willing to believe that Thanos will get his big purple hands on all of the Stones in Infinity War before putting them on his Gauntlet and snapping his fingers.

But what if the Soul Stone doesn't get revealed at all until Avengers 4. What if there's no click in Infinity War? CBR offered a compelling case for it not appearing, not least because the film is already too over-stuffed.

The Stone is way too important for it to be just another plot element and it is fairly convincing to think that Infinity War will focus predominantly on Thanos' backstory and attempts to get his hands on the Stones that are out in the open (as well as Thor's story) before Avengers 4 (The Quest For The Soul Stone?) concentrates initially on him trying to find the single most valuable Stone.

Certainly has a ring to it, doesn't it?
