Avengers: Infinity War - Power Ranking Every Character

4. Thor

Thor Ragnarok Lightning
Marvel Studios

Before Thor: Ragnarok, the God Of Thunder was already a pretty big deal. He was given some of his father's powers, was "worthy" enough to wield Mjolnir (and command lightning powers through it) and was gifted god-like strength, durability and agility. He was as close to an adonis walking among men as you could possibly imagine, and he's pretty much the only Avengers who could square up to Hulk and walk away with his bones intact.

He's now been given an even bigger injection of power thanks to the events of Ragnarok - in a couple of ways - and as long as he is Asgard's chosen protector, he will be one of the most powerful figures in the entire MCU.

It seems that Thor is set to face off with Thanos directly in Infinity War very early, and given the description of footage played at Comic Con, he seems not to come out of it very well - but he doesn't die, which is testament to his power already. Usually, Thanos would crush his enemies like bugs, so Thor clearly has more than the Mad Titan could extinguish.
