Avengers: Infinity War - Predicting The Fate Of Every Avenger

Mantis is the new kid on the block, and as such, it's hard to know what to expect from her. Will she be able to handle herself in a fight? Is she even a fighter, or does she prefer to take a back seat?

Her ability to read the emotions of others should make some for some funny interactions between her and the other Avengers, but we expect Mantis to have a very small role in Infinity War, and one that doesn't impact the plot in a massive way.

What Will Happen To Her? If Mantis was a child in Vol. 2, in Infinity War, she'll become an adult.

Not literally, of course, but in terms of her social skills. In Vol. 2, she was shy, awkward and weird, due to the fact that she had never really met other people before, having lived with Ego for most of her life.

But in Infinity War, she'll be surrounded by a variety of different people, each with a distinct personality.

Expect Mantis to learn, grow, and absorb all the tiny intricacies of social interaction through her conversations with the other heroes, making her a much less naive character by the film's end.
