2. The Comedy Is A Little Too Relentless

For the first half of the movie, the gags come at an absolutely relentless pace, and while a lot of them really do land and audiences will love them, some are a little too much and don't entirely suit the gravitas of the situation.

In a way, it feels like the Russos paid a little too much attention to Thor: Ragnarok in terms of the gag frequency and after a while it feels a little like you're being made to endure too much shtick. And really, some more restraint would have served the agenda to make us laugh a little more, which is very much the message of the second half, where the gags calm down because of the need to focus on more break-neck action and it all works a lot better.

Still, there are gags in there that will absolutely be remembered long after the film is dust in the memory.
