1. It's SLIGHTLY Too Long

There's a very definite shift of pace at the mid-point of Infinity War that rather unfortunately makes some of the scenes up that point feel a little long.

The difficulty, of course, is that there is so much story in there that the Russos would have been faced with some pretty major decisions (and at least one sequence we know was filmed didn't make it in to the final film). But you still come away feeling like it could probably have been about 15 minutes shorter without losing anything.

That said, there is absolutely zero fat to trim on the second half and the Russos would have had to kill some real darlings to get the run-time down. Strictly speaking, the negatives here are meagre compared to the soaring heights.

Now to the positives...
