Avengers: Infinity War Trailer - 8 Most Revealing Shots

In a trailer packed full of curious shots, this one might be the most curious of them all.

The Vision we know from Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War is a synthetic android who's red, yellow and green in colour, but here, he looks like a regular human - albeit one with an Infinity Stone in his forehead. How does this come to be?

One possibility is that Vision has managed to develop this look for himself. We already know that he's capable of changing his appearance at will, so maybe this is an extreme version of that power, one that he's recently developed.

But a more likely scenario is that this is the work of Wanda/Scarlet Witch.

In the past she's displayed the ability to get inside other people's heads, causing them to have visions and strange hallucinations. So, this happy reality - one where she and Vision are together, away from all the violence and death that Thanos will bring - could be one she constructs for herself, as a way to deal with all the trauma.

Maybe Vision dies (something we'll discuss later), and so Wanda retreats into the recesses of her mind, imagining a world where the two can live together peacefully.

In the comic-book series House Of M, Wanda warps reality in order to make herself happy, so perhaps Infinity War will take elements of this storyline and use them accordingly.
