Avengers: Infinity War Vs Avengers: Endgame - Which Is Better?
Both Infinity War and Endgame are of course directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and there's a clear tonal and stylistic consistency across the movies that makes this a tough battle to win.
On one hand, Infinity War is a more snappily-paced and cleanly focused movie with less questionable narrative elements, but Endgame is a far more demanding film from a technical perspective, requiring the brothers to juggle a mind-boggling number of characters and moving parts.
WINNER: It's an extremely close call, but Endgame barely clinches it largely due to the absurd level of ambition throughout, and also the impressiveness with which the Russos make that beefy three-hour run-time speed by. That's not easily done, no matter how much audiences love the characters.
