8. Pepper Potts

Fate: Unknown

We do know that Pepper Potts is involved in Avengers 4 thanks to a photo from the set posted by Robert Downey Jr not so long ago. Whether that will come right at the end after everything has been "fixed" or during the earlier action remains to be seen, but the latter would mean she survived the snap.

It would be nice to think she and Tony get a happy ending, but it's a little worrying right now.

7. Happy Hogan

Fate: Unknown

Like Pepper, Happy Hogan's involvement was confirmed by the image Robert Downey Jr shared. It's unlikely he's going to play a huge role in the film's action, but it would make sense that the wrap-up will include some more supporting characters like this.

6. Red Skull

Fate: Unknown

When he returned in Infinity War, it seemed as though Red Skull's fate was entirely tied to the Soul Stone - he was intrioduced as the Stonekeeper, cursed to guide others to a treasure he could never possess himself.

Now that the Stone is no longer on Vormir, it wouldn't make sense that he's freed from his curse. But what that actually means to him is the question here. Could he be completely free? Could he return as a head of HYDRA? For now, that's one of the big questions for Avengers 4 and beyond, but in purely traditional story terms, you'd think he was done now.
