1. It's A Fitting Ending For The Franchise (But Leaves The Door Open)

You can sense the pressure that the filmmakers felt to ensure that, if Bad Boys for Life truly is the final film in the series, then it ends things on a satisfyingly final note.

And to that end, this would certainly be a fitting jumping-off point for Mike and Marcus, and yet, the film also leaves the door open for further sequels, assuring fans that these characters have plenty left in the tank.

It remains to be seen whether or not Bad Boys for Life will make enough money to justify a sequel - recent box office reports suggest yes - but whatever happens, this third film sticks the landing better than just about anyone could have surely expected.
