Kelly Fremon Craig cemented herself as a director to watch with her 2016 debut The Edge of Seventeen, which was widely acclaimed as one of the best coming-of-age movies in years.

As writer-director, Craig proved she's capable of crafting heartfelt, down-to-Earth female-centric drama, and it's easy to see how much of this could translate into the travails of Barbara Gordon.

How Likely Is It?: Craig isn't shooting anything right now - though she is planning to film drama Wild Game in the near-future - and if Warner Bros. decides to proceed with a teenage iteration of the character, Craig really feels like a snug fit.

It's hard to gauge whether she'd want her career to go in this direction, but she should be considered a solid possibility in the very least. 6/10
