Batman: 10 Best Batmobiles Outside Of The Comics

It's the general consensus that Batman v Superman (and arguably a lot of the DCEU) is, for the most part, an unfortunate case of style over substance. And although Ben Affleck's Batman suffers from some very subpar writing and characterisation, he does, at least, benefit from the style element of the film.

This version is inspired by Frank Miller's poignantly dark comic run, The Dark Knight Returns, from the weary old Bruce Wayne to the bulky Batsuit and, of course, the heavily armoured Batmobile.

As Batman's rides go, this one is pretty huge. It's amazing that it even fits down the streets of Gotham! And although it looks spectacular, you can't help but notice that it's packing quite a bit of heat. Granted, Miller's Batman was a bit less rigid about his 'no killing' rule, but is Affleck's incarnation planning on shooting up the whole city?

Maybe this is a petty gripe, but it says something when Gotham's alleged protector seems to own more guns than the people he fights.
