6. Val Kilmer as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman Forever
Val Kilmer most resembled the playboy facade of Bruce Wayne's personality most out of the three actors who played the character in the Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher Batman films. However, that part of Bruce Wayne's personality conceals his true nature. While Michael Keaton's representation of Bruce Wayne seems like he is being Batman all the time by being too dark as Bruce Wayne, Kilmer's turn as the Caped Crusader does not incorporate the distinction between Batman and Bruce Wayne either. Simply, Kilmer appears like he is being Bruce Wayne even when he is wearing the cape and cowl. The only actor to accurately represent the characteristics of both Batman and Bruce Wayne on film is Christian Bale. Kilmer, specifically as Batman, is not brooding enough and does not come off as intimidating to his foes.
