4. Adam West (Batman TV Series, Batman: The Movie)

Okay, so we all think the same things when we think of Adam West's Batman - tiny ears, drawn on blue eyebrows, Shark Repellent Bat-Spray. The 60's Batman show (and movie) were campy as all hell, stripping all the seriousness from previous incarnations of Batman and goofing it up a bit, but it was also self-aware, knowingly making fun of what is honestly pretty ridiculous. Grown men in tights? C'mon! Adam West had to have known this, and played the character as such - frankly he would have had to, given the costume he had to wear. It's really difficult to look like a bad-ass in those gray tights. Also, he didn't even try to disguise his voice when he wasn't Bruce Wayne. What would be the point? And that's also why I placed Adam West higher on this list than some might have expected - sometimes we fanboys don't realize how ridiculous caped superheroes can be.
