Batman: Every Alternate Live-Action Movie Suit Ranked

2. Armored Batsuit

Batman V Superman
Warner Bros.

When it came time for the Caped Crusader to battle the god-like Superman, he needed to protect himself more than he ever had before. The Armored Batsuit was therefore made of a thick metal and was lined with lead so as to prevent Superman from using his X-ray vision on Bats.

Offense was just as important as defense in this encounter, so the Armored suit was built as a powerful exoskeleton that allowed Batman to multiply the strength of his attacks. Additionally, Bruce equipped the utility belt with a variety of Kryptonite weapons to weaken Supes, giving him the upper hand over the Kryptonian.

The all-metal suit has a great look to it, standing out from all others that came before it. The suit is a menacing sight to behold, and furthers Batman's already intimidating reputation. There are some weaknesses to the Armored suit, though: the heavy weight prevents Bruce from being able to glide, and his maneuverability is diminished somewhat. Luckily, none of those issues proved to hinder him much.
