Batman V Superman contains a dream sequence in which Bruce Wayne envisions a potential future where Lois Lane is dead. In this reality, Supes has gone rogue and must be brought down.

Since this alternate reality has turned practically everything into a desert wasteland, Bruce wears a trench coat over his standard Batsuit and adds a pair of goggles on his cowl. These both serve to better protect him from the elements, but it is also just a great look. It's completely different from any other Batsuit seen on film before.

The thrown-together look fits the atmosphere of the scene incredibly well. The post-apocalyptic nature of the dream makes it clear that Batman has to do the best with what he has because resources are limited. This particular outfit that the Dark Knight wears is not the most tactical, but that works perfectly in this situation because his usual techniques are rendered useless in the bleak and empty environment.
