Batman Film Reboot: 11 Things That Must Be Included

8. Rogues Gallery

Batman has, probably, the best rogues gallery of any hero in comic books. The Joker, Riddler, Bane, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, The Penguin, Mister Freeze, Two Face, Catwoman, Clayface, Hush, Victor Zsasz, Hugo Strange, The Falcone Crime Family, other Organized Crime establishments etc. The list goes on. Preferably, among this list, the need for the €œunrealistic villain€ is vital. Wouldn€™t it be great to see a €œgood€ representation of Mister Freeze in screen? The freeze gun? What about Killer Croc? Poison Ivy? It€™s a fanboy€™s dream. Then there are the more intricate villains. The Riddler would pose a great mental threat to Batman. Hugo Strange would attack Batman€™s psychology. Hush as well. Then there€™s the elephant in the room; The Joker. I€™d save him for a sequel; don€™t use him right away. You can never match Heath Ledger€™s legendary performance. You can only hope to honor it by attempting to get close to it. I want the Joker from the comics. Devilishly dangerous. That mix of humor and carnage. A brilliant serial killer who mixes jokes with bloodshed. Also, a joker who€™s obsessed with Batman. One, who wants to kill Batman. It should be a rivalry between the two. A hatred. Nolan€™s Joker transformed to the fact that he wanted to battle Batman forever. He liked the €œfun they had€ battling one another. He learned that he didn€™t want to kill him. This Joker despises Bats and wants him dead. Overall, the rogues gallery had got to vary and use the more unusual and supernatural villains.
