3. Selina Kyle In A Totally Different Context

No matter how you look at it, Selina Kyle is one of the finest characters of the medium. For Batman, she's both a partner and a romantic interest, but we don't look at her nearly enough outside of that context.
Gotham by Gaslight, however, most certainly will. While it's a given that the two will flirt and do the usual Bat-cat stuff, Bruce Timm and Mike Carlin have gone on record saying that this particular Selina will be doing her own thing. As a champion of Gotham's women and a supporter of the burgeoning movement for women's suffrage, it's clear that Kyle will be pushing against all kinds of different forces during the period; not just the Ripper, but the patriarchy itself too.
We're also, quite thankfully, guaranteed to see Selina cracking her whip at the Whitechapel murderer, so we'll get to see the character's more traditional sensibilities make way too.
