It's not just Selina who's getting the Victorian treatment here either, but the rest of Batman's allies as well.
Indeed, the trailer showed off James Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Alfred Pennyworth and, in a particularly skilful nod towards the then burgeoning Freudian school of psychology, Hugo Strange himself. They're all getting to appear in the film in some way, with a young Jason Todd getting the nod early on in the featurette as well. It reminds us that, despite the change in timeline, this is still a Bat-tale to its core, replete with the hero's colourful cast of supporting characters.
Whichever way you look at it, it's great to see Batman's supporting cast in an uncanny way, particularly when - like Gordon - they're sporting some truly spectacular facial hair.
