Batman Ninja Review: 5 Ups & 4 Downs

1. It's A Totally Unique & Ambitious Batman Movie

While the script certainly has its issues, it's hard to deny that this is perhaps the most singular and ambitious Batman story ever put to screen.

Those worried about DC and Warner Bros. churning out yet another generic, dispassionate Batman animated movie should rest easy, for with its unexpected setting, wide array of crowd-pleasing characters, gorgeous visuals and insane action, it is like nothing else out there.

If you're a DC fan craving something totally out of left-field, this'll scratch the itch and then some. It's fundamentally imperfect, but it's well worth putting up with the movie's issues for the sheer bats*** craziness of the overall vision.
