Batman: Ranking Every Movie Batsuit From Worst To Best

9. The Battle Armour - Batman V Superman

Robert Pattinson The Batman
Warner Bros. Pictures

Pros: Suitable for fighting actual supermen. And again, scores extra points for fidelity to the excellent source.

Cons: Impractical for movement, cumbersome and apparently not to be used against giant killer monsters with even more powers than Superman for some reason.

When the battle armour was unveiled ahead of Batman v Superman, it looked very much like Zack Snyder was making The Dark Knight Returns, and a lot of fans lost their sh*t. Thanks to a very close adaptation of the source material, the comic book design leapt off the page and it still looks damn impressive.

It's just the practicalities that stand against it really. It must weigh an absolute ton, even with Affleck's huge muscles to power it, and it was horribly undermined in the movie by Bruce Wayne refusing to use it in the Doomsday battle. Did he not have faith in it? Was it literally ONLY useful against Superman?
