Batman: Ranking Every Movie Batsuit From Worst To Best

3. The Dark Knight

Robert Pattinson The Batman
Warner Bros.

Pros: It's a more theatrical, more functional version of Nolan's Riot Bat get-up.

Cons: The mouth piece is even bloody smaller.

The follow up suit to the Batman Begins get-up looks even more like a billionaire playboy with a personal weapons division would make. it's angular, it has visible military like aesthetic notes and it definitely looks like it's an amalgamation of lots of pieces of technology that he has acquired or developed and brought into his design.

The big update here, and one that is still massively useful is the ability to actually turn the head, making real life combat situations feel far more authentic. And the attempt to make the mask more animal was a good step, even if it compromised on the size of the jaw opening.

There's also a number of gadgets built in: there's an electrical current charged through the helmet to prevent removal as well as built-in sonar vision. Plus there's a handy pneumatic device that can bend gun barrels and slice through metal. Always useful.
