After Tim Burton's beautiful first Batsuit proved a little cumbersome for actor Michael Keaton, he understandably insisted that it be trimmed down in weight so he wasn't struggling with it.

The sleeker design actually feels like Bruce Wayne has taken his own experiences into account and worked on the suit to make it more suited to agile combat. There's a more angular design and it came with new gadgets, including the now famous remote-controlled Batarang, the Line Launcher and a spring-loaded cape that doubles as a paraglider.
