1. The Ending

And finally, for all of the film's issues, they totally nailed the ending, where Batman tries to help The Joker overcome his issues, but he responds with a joke that makes the Dark Knight laugh, cementing how they really are just two sides of the came coin.

It's easily one of the comic's most memorable moments, and is translated to the screen superbly, though no fancy directorial or visual tricks are really needed here: it's all about Conroy and Hamill's terrific work behind the characters, and they nailed it.

It's a good idea to finish strong, and the ending is so well-executed that you might even temporarily forget about the movie's myriad problems. Temporarily...
