10. Dane DeHaan
Warner Bros.Dane DeHaan touted by some as the next Leonardo DiCaprio may have already committed to a superhero movie role with his superb portrayal of Harry Osborn/Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 but this doesnt mean that he wouldnt be a brilliant Riddler. Indeed, there is a lot linking the Green Goblin and the Riddler besides their both favouring green attire most conspicuously both villains are deeply neurotic characters who dont appear to be motivated by money. Besides if Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans have proven anything its that committing to one comic book character doesnt automatically eliminate you from future Marvel or DC roles. DeHaan has a sickly, vulnerable look which has been used to great effect in previous roles like in The Place Beyond the Pines where he played the delinquent son of a murdered bank robber or as Jesse D'Amato in HBOs In Treatment (the role he is still arguably best known for). The 28-year-old is a superb actor who certainly warrants all the hype and would make an excellent Riddler, likely to be particularly effective at capturing the puzzle-loving villains psychological instability.
