6. David Tennant
DeviantartIn his incredibly active career we have seen David Tennant confirm time and time again that he is highly skilled at playing the oddball and even the occasional psychopath. His turn as the vindictive Death Eater Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is arguably Tennants most enduring stint as a villain. The constant lick-lipping of Voldemorts crony is an obsessive tick which is very comparable to the Riddlers weird fixation with puzzles. Even in his role as the kindly Doctor Who, Tennant was able to seem deeply unstable while still being the shows iconic hero. Tennant who has been relatively inactive recently needs a big project like Batman Vs. Superman to get his wacky face back on screens. The thought of Tennant donning the green apparel and bowler hat of the Riddler is a deeply appealing one. There are very few actors who could better handle the instability and wackiness of DCs puzzle-loving super villain than David Tennant. Heres hoping that the talented British actor would be willing to abandon his comparatively humble role in Broadchurch for a major Hollywood blockbuster.
