4. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Fox Searchlight PicturesPrior to the release of The Dark Knight Rises speculation was rife that Gordon-Levitt would be undertaking the difficult task of being the man to replace Heath Ledger as the films central antagonist the Riddler. It would make an excellent departure from Gordon-Levitts tendency towards playing the good-guy; giving the incredibly talented actor the perfect opportunity to demonstrate his full range. In the end fans were disappointed as he would give a rather forgettable performance as the inoffensive John Blake (Robin). With the Batman Vs. Superman movie now in production, may we finally see Joseph Gordon-Levitt doing his long awaited turn as the man in the green suit? Since his turn as Robin we have seen Gordon-Levitts ability to play more dubious characters, acting as a modern bachelor whose only concerns are "my body, my pad, my ride, my family, my church, my boys, my girls, my porn" in Don Jon. Zack Snyder's hotly-anticipated super hero flick could finally give us a chance to see how Gordon-Levitt handles an insane role.
