Near the end of the movie, Batman attempts to assist Superman in saving his mother Martha, as he assaults the warehouse where she's being held and guarded by countless enemies. Cue a marvelous sequence where Batman bursts through the floor to surprise the assailants, disabling their guns, stringing them up, flinging them across the room and just generally beating the living crap out of them. The scene also features Batman's one kill in the movie that actually doesn't make him look like a lunatic, when he flings a guard into another guard, knocking a grenade out of his hand, blowing both of them up. Say what you want about Snyder, but this features some of his strongest direction to date, and Batman's hand-to-hand combat here is effortlessly superior to the fairly clumsy fight choreography from Christopher Nolan's Batman films.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
