Batman V Superman: 10 Big Questions We Still Have No Answers For

5. Is There A Secret Villain (Or Villains)?

With Batman V Superman playing the roles of protagonist and antagonist, and a big supporting cast of superheroes and fan favourite characters, there is little room left for anyone else. But since the film is also responsible for really launching the DC cinematic universe, you can't help but wonder if the film has a few secrets up its sleeve. Specifically, is the Batman and Superman clash just a smokescreen for the emergence of a secret villain (or villains)? There is much speculation that Superman's famed nemesis, Doomsday, will actually make an appearance ahead of playing a major role in future Justice League films. As to how Doomsday will be introduced, it is assumed that Zod's corpse and the experiments performed on it will somehow result in the creation of this spiky behemoth. But Doomsday may not be the only big DC supervillain to pop up. Before everyone sees him in Suicide Squad, it is rumoured that the Joker will actually appear somewhere in this film and that Superman is aware of the joke-telling menace.

My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem. Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh. You can follow me at @Fry_ying_pan but don't be offended if I don't tweet back. It's usually because I've spent too long trying to think up a witty response that the reply window has closed.
