Batman V Superman: 10 Reasons Man Of Steel Is Better

1. The Ending Tease Actually Works

As a movie that aims to leave us wanting more, Batman v Superman is a very mixed bag indeed. Superman is "dead" and just about to come back to life, while Batman and Wonder Woman discuss seeking out Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash.

However, none of these revelations feel particularly interesting or massively earned, and so the film ends on something of a "is that it!?" Yes, there will likely still be a sizable audience keen to see Justice League, but the movie didn't end on a particularly rousing tease for coming attractions.

Man of Steel kept it simple instead: we got to see Clark embracing his human persona as he joined the Daily Planet with him literally being welcomed to the planet in the movie's closing moment, and it still left us hyped to see Man of Steel 2...which ironically never ended up happening.

Ending BvS on a somber, over-extended funeral scene that everyone watching knew was total bunk was such a flaccid conclusion to such a hyped-up movie. How disappointing.
