Batman V Superman: 10 Reasons Troy Baker Would Be The Perfect Joker
8. He Showed His Ability In Arkham Origins/Assault On Arkham
Arkham Origins explored how Batman became the character that we first met in the Arkham Asylum and City games. It also introduced Batman to his arch nemesis; The Joker. At first he was masquerading as Black Mask, but soon he became known as a character all on his own. Baker voiced The Joker in this game, but he also provided The Jokers unique voice in the Assault on Arkham animated film, which was based on that series of games. Both of these performances show that Baker has the capacity to step into The Jokers shoes and succeed. The key to The Joker is not just on screen presence, but the unique voice and cackle that almost anyone can identify within seconds of hearing it. He has past experience playing the character, and his performance is nearly universally praised in both of these features. It is hard not to see his incredible voice acting follow through onto the big screen.
