7. Lois And Clark Are Engaged

This rumour started up when Amy Adams was spotted by the Daily Mail with an engagement ring on her ring finger while on the Dawn of Justice set. By the time Man Of Steel ends, Lois and Clark have shared all of one kiss. They're only just about to get to know each other when he starts up his job at the Daily Planet right at the end. Jumping forward to have these two characters are engaged would be way too sudden. There'd be so little time to see their relationship in its infancy and see it blossom, or see how Lois (presumably) accepts the impact Clark's heroic obligations have on their everyday lives. More importantly, a quick Google tells you Adams was engaged in real life to Darren De Gallo at the time. (The pair have since been married.) She'd been seen in public wearing what looks a lot like the same ring. And the photos were snapped in between takes, taken close to several trailers, presumably including her own. So it's way more likely the ring was actually hers and not Lois Lane's. Getting engaged feels like something they'll save for Man Of Steel's standalone sequel.
