9. It's All About How The World Views Superman

While Man of Steel briefly played around with the dynamic between Superman and the military, the fact that he was only just introducing himself to the world as a hero meant that the movie didn't really have much time to deal with how the public view their new saviour. 

Batman v Superman's teaser trailer made it clear that the reaction to him is mixed (mostly negative even), and while Zack Synder reiterated the fact that this isn't a Man of Steel sequel, Henry Cavill had a very interesting take on how this movie will handle his character and continue his story.

"I like to think that Man of Steel was the perspective of the world from Clark, Kal-El, looking at the world and trying to exist with in it,” he explains. “Batman v Superman is definitely more mankind’s perspective of Superman." It's that which appears to be the driving force of Batman v Superman, though the image above very much gives off the vibe that there are those who do still believe in Superman. In fact, it almost appears as if they're worshipping him...
