3. Batman Goes After Superman With A Kryptonite Suit
Regardless of whether it's in the comic books or this movie, fans are endlessly debating who would and should win when Batman and Superman come to blows. There are those who argue that Superman could simply wipe Batman out with a flicker of his heat vision, and others who point out the fact that he would never actually do that gives the much smarter Batman the tactical advantage.
In Batman v Superman though, the Caped Crusader will have an advantage in the form of Kryptonite.
His reinforced armoured suit not only augments his strength through the tech inside, but has also now been confirmed as being laced with Kryptonite, the deadly radioactive remains of Krypton which leave Superman severely weakened. That's obviously going to result in a much more level playing field.
Zack Snyder revealed that the idea to introduce Kryptonite actually came from a scrapped end credits scene for Man of Steel. That would have featured a crate full of the alien material being delivered to Wayne Manor, though the filmmaker appeared to be relieved that they didn't end up using that in the movie.
