3. Kryptonite
Okay, this one should really remain in the maybe pile until official proof to the contrary arrives, but it seems pretty unlikely that Superman will make it through two movies in a row without facing the threat of his Achilles heel. Man Of Steel was actually somewhat refreshing in as far as Kal-El didnt have to deal with kryptonite for a change. Still, with little prospect of any other Kryptonians entering the fray its a good bet that he wont be so lucky this time. After all, many casual observers have already pointed out that Batman V Superman is hardly a fair fight, regardless of whatever shiny new gadgets Bats has hidden in his utility belt. Were someone to provide him with a little kryptonite, on the other hand One of the problems with Superman on the big screen is just how difficult it is to create a suitable threat against a character whos practically indestructible, which is why Lex Luthor tends to have a little chunk of Kal-Els homeland hidden away somewhere. Its nothing more than speculation at this point, but that could change very quickly when the first trailer drops.
