Batman V Superman: 12 Movies You Won't Believe Were Better Reviewed
10. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Score: 38%
Incredibly, X-Men Origins: Wolverine made X-Men 3 look like a master-piece (much like a lot of people are saying Batman v Superman has done for Man Of Steel, in fact). It had some great ideas, it had an excellent opening sequence and it cast well, but like Batman v Superman it was hampered by too much source reinvention, an idiotic script and at times dumb-ass directing.
Why It Did Better
The fun element maybe? Or maybe it's the fact that it didn't openly show as much disdain for the characters it was mauling as Zack Snyder did. The fudges at least felt a lot more well-intentioned, rather than the comical critical takedowns of both Superman and Jimmy Olsen.
The Lesson For Warner Bros
Retain the lead characters that work and seriously, don't be afraid of having another go at the biggest missed opportunities (the Dark Knight Returns adaptation, the introduction of the Justice League and Doomsday, but with a much, much better director). Like Deadpool did.
