2. The Christopher Wren Quote

The sequences after Superman's death are inevitably sombre and surprisingly well done, but there is an oddly jarring reference in there that borrows the obituary of one of England's most famous architects. As he's laid to rest, Superman's legacy is heralded with the words "if you seek his monument €“ look around you," which were written in homage to Christopher Wren, who died in 1723 having designed St Paul's and changing how London looked in the 1670s. Quite what that means to modern Batman fans remains to be seen.
