Superman has always afraid to strike below the utility belt, but this doesnt apply to the Bat, so theres no reason to believe hed shy away from hitting the Kryptonian where it hurts. This isnt the usual place on the Man Of Steel - its actually his ears. Although hes gained enough control over his super hearing to filter out all that background noise, a single concentrated blast from a piece of sonic weaponry should bring him to his knees. Batman put this hypothesis to the test on the pages of The Dark Knight Returns when he shot his rival in the face with a sonic gun, and the result left a reeling Superman with a bloody nose.
