Batman V Superman: 8 Major Reveals About The Dark Knight From The New Images

1. Building The Armour

There's been a lot of speculation about Batman's armour, with some fans theorising that the hero possibly builds it with Lex Luthor (who, in the comic books, is no stranger to creating power suits to battle Superman). However, the book confirms that it's made by Bruce and Alfred and that they use a "high-tech rig" in order to test it beforehand. Not much more than that is revealed and there's sadly no mention of whether or not the Caped Crusader really does use Kryptonite to put him on an equal footing with Superman. However, there are still some interesting new details about the main Batsuit, including the fact after years of testing different materials, it's reinforced with the latest in bullet proof fabrics and lightweight plates, as well as a fireproof cape; that would explain why Firefly didn't cause Batman too much of a headache in those prequel comics. That Batsuit is also housed within the case shown off in the trailers, though can only be accessed by Bruce because the door is locked with a special handprint scanner which is coded to him and him only.
