1. Batman Refuses To Join The Justice League
The most boring and predictable way for Batman v Superman to conclude is with the Justice League assembling for the first time and bracing themselves for an oncoming threat. While that would no doubt be a very cool (and long overdue) moment, a much more interesting and surprising way to end things is with Batman refusing to join his fellow heroes as part of this new superhero team. That would leave viewers with a lot to think about until Justice League hits, and while the Dark Knight would inevitably end up joining them, teasing the prospect of the team heading into battle without him initially opens the door to some very exciting storytelling possibilities. At his core, Batman is of course a hero who will always do what's right, but he's also someone who doesn't trust others. That's why Batman v Superman should end with him rejecting the idea of becoming part of the League, with an after-credits scene going one step further by revealing that he has a cache full of weapons to take them down if necessary. Could that lead to Batman v Justice League? Who knows, but having that movie kick off with the Caped Crusader potentially clashing with the heroes before they all team up would be very cool, and much different to what everyone is currently expecting. Back to Batman v Superman though, and finishing things with a cliffhanger like this one would definitely come as a surprise to the majority of the audience!
