2. Wonder Woman Is A Kryptonian

This one started off as a bit of a silly rumour, but what if Batman v Superman does indeed reveal that Wonder Woman is of Kryptonian descent? This sure to be surprising reveal probably wouldn't sit too well with some fans, but there's no denying that it could be a clever way to make the character's existence in the grounded DC Extended Universe a little more plausible than it otherwise might be. A Man of Steel prequel comic book revealed that Supergirl crash landed on Earth thousands of years ago in the ship Superman eventually finds, and it's widely believed that she may have escaped and made a new life on Earth. What if she was the first Amazon? It's been said that Lex has been spying on Diana Prince because he's fascinated by the fact she doesn't age, so him dropping this bombshell at some point in the movie would not only change Superman's perspective on being the last Kryptonian left alive, but also sets up some interesting plot threats for Wonder Woman's planned solo outing. This is a twist which would likely mean more to comic book fans than regular moviegoers, but if handled the right way, it could still be a huge moment in Batman v Superman. Many fans believe that Zack Snyder is going into this movie wanting to avoid controversy after the Man of Steel fiasco, but if he has the guts to shake things up with a reveal like this, we can look forward to years of debate about it! Yay?
