6. What Does LexCorp Actually Do?
We're all familiar with the concept of Lex Luthor as Superman's nemesis. He's the brain to Clark Kent's brawn and he frequently uses that intellect to find new ways to hurt the son of Krypton like nobody else can. He's also the billionaire owner and CEO of his own multinational conglomerate, which puts him on a nice parallel with the older and wiser businessman, Bruce Wayne. If the DCU is going to be believable though then it would be nice to know exactly what LexCorp does instead of throwing out vague descriptions that even Financial Times readers would scoff at. Jesse Eisenberg is confirmed to be playing Lex Luthor Jr, meaning that he's probably inherited the business from an older Lex Sr. It would still be nice to know how he can afford the resources to reanimate the corpse of an alien warlord in order to fight a national hero undetected though. The more we can see Eisenberg's caffeinated irritant showing some believable business nous the better.
