Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice - 10 Things You Need To Know

5. It's Probably Not A Good Idea To Let Jesse Eisenberg Promote The Movie

Jesse Eisenberg is a pretty terrific actor, but when it comes to interviews...well, he's as awkward and as difficult as many of the characters he plays. He didn't look at all comfortable during Batman v Superman's Hall H panel, and a couple of days later would make some comments about the experience which upset a lot of people and generated the kind of "controversy" which usually starts about this sort of thing on social media; he compared Comic-Con to genocide. While Eisenberg would later clarify those comments in a half arsed attempt to save face and deflect the ire of angry fanboys, his general lack of enthusiasm and apparent disdain for those who love these characters isn't going to do Batman v Superman any favours when it comes time for press junkets and the like. As for the character he plays, Lex Luthor remains something of a mystery. For example, while the first official image of the villain featured a bald Eisenberg, the character could quite clearly be seen with a full head of hair in the trailer. Could the events of this movie be what leads to him losing it all? If rumours about him being behind bars in Suicide Squad are to be believed, he might just lose his freedom too...
